I committed to running a 5k.
I don't know why I have done this.
I don't run.
Now I know what your thinking, your thinking "everyone says they are not a runner, and really they turn out to be totally fine."
Well- your wrong.
When I say I'm not a runner, I mean, like- at all!
I don't think I've ran since the 4th grade Hershey Track Meet
Where you can bet I came in dead last.
But I'm one who believes in second chances.
So, me and running are going to give it a second go.
My mom showed me this great path by our house that is made just for runners.
It's full of adorable hand written and encouraging signs to keep you motivated.
They must know you need them after being passed by 70 year old women.
So- it's the title of "RUNNER" I'm trying to achieve.
I hear people say they fall in love with running.
That "when the endorphins kick in it's amazing!"
Well I would love to experience that.
As soon as I get past the side cramps, heavy wheezing and sore thighs.....
Wish me luck.
