I committed to running a 5k.
I don't know why I have done this.
I don't run.
Now I know what your thinking, your thinking "everyone says they are not a runner, and really they turn out to be totally fine."
Well- your wrong.
When I say I'm not a runner, I mean, like- at all!
I don't think I've ran since the 4th grade Hershey Track Meet
Where you can bet I came in dead last.
But I'm one who believes in second chances.
So, me and running are going to give it a second go.
My mom showed me this great path by our house that is made just for runners.
It's full of adorable hand written and encouraging signs to keep you motivated.
They must know you need them after being passed by 70 year old women.
So- it's the title of "RUNNER" I'm trying to achieve.
I hear people say they fall in love with running.
That "when the endorphins kick in it's amazing!"
Well I would love to experience that.
As soon as I get past the side cramps, heavy wheezing and sore thighs.....
Wish me luck.

Yes! I love that you run! And I love that you have signs to encourage you!
Emily and I just ran our first 5k and it was way fun! If we can do it anyone can!
Carlie, all you have to do is look like a runner, and come on, you're about the cutest runner i've ever seen (it's kind of not fair actually:) The more you run the better you get and the farther you can go. You can do it!!
Carlie,
You look like a perfect runner. I wish I could be a runner. I have trouble running 1/2 a block, let alone 1/2 a mile. Miss You!
